 Hi, I’m Nicole!

I am an intern at Serenity working toward my PLMHP licensure, offering a supportive and welcoming space where individuals can show up as their authentic selves - free from fear of judgment or rejection. I believe therapy is a strength-based investment in your own well-being, designed to help you grow using the resilience and insight you already possess. My goal is to help clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s current challenges and work towards lasting mental wellness.

 

I bring a deep understanding of child development and family dynamics to my work as a therapist with 19 years of experience in elementary education. My passion for academic support naturally evolved into a broader commitment to supporting the youth and adults - emotionally, mentally, and relationally. I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents to build healthy self-worth, normalize individualism, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and develop positive connections with others. I am also passionate about supporting adults navigating life transitions - whether that is a career change, shifts in family structure, or the evolving nature of identity and relationships. My approach to therapy centers on the belief that clear, compassionate, and intentional communication, especially within our closest relationships, is key to emotional well-being and strong support systems. I meet each client at their current reality with practical, goal-focused support tailored to their unique needs and lived experiences.

 On a Personal Note

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our teenage son, and our therapy dog, Mustard. I also have a daughter and granddaughter who live on the East Coast, and I cherish any time we’re able to spend together. During the warmer months, you’ll likely find us outdoors, preferably in or near water. When the weather turns colder, I’m happiest wrapped in a cozy blanket with a good book (or three) and a nice warm peppermint hot cocoa!
